みとよでホームステイJapan Homestay Program

Japan Homestay Program

Meet the Wonder of Japan
Our program creates the opportunity to bring people together and sets the foundation for lifelong cultural understanding.
While learning about a new culture, program participants will be able to stay with a host family and experience the Japanese lifestyle in Mitoyo, Kagawa.
Our one-of-a-kind program is perfect for students as they start their journey towards becoming a global citizen.
We are able to design a custom homestay experience depending on the needs of your group and actively encourage applications from overseas educational institutions and study abroad organizations.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Program Highlights

  • Homestay
You will feel right at home staying with one of our friendly and hospitable families in Mitoyo. By the end of your stay, you’ll feel like you gained more family members!
  • SUP and Sea Kayaking
Experience SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) or sea kayaking on the dazzling Seto Inland Sea. The waters are gentle, so even beginners can enjoy these activities.
  • Udon Making
Udon is the staple food of Kagawa, and many udon restaurants have lines out the door during lunchtime! In Mitoyo, you can try making this hearty noodle soup for yourself.
  • Sea Fireflies
In the summer, glowing sea fireflies gather on the beaches around Mitoyo. Get up close and personal with these tiny glowing sea creatures. You’ll never forget this experience for the rest of your life!
